Astrenska is a company who specializes in finding niche markets for insurance products. It is a low-cost approach which requires suites of microsites produced cheap and fast, but with scope for creativity.

No Claims Cashback does exactly that: Give you money back if you do not claim on your travel insurance.

We decided to use the style of the communist era with the slogan "A Revolution in Travel Insurance".

To make it more engaging we made a big Flash movie as the top of the home page allowing users to instantly see what cashback they would get for different travel scenarios.

Complete Ski

Complete Ski is one of the older microsites and as such the design has been revisited a couple of times to keep it fresh.

However, the Ski Resort Google mash-up map has been with the site almost from the beginning and is key to the success of Complete Ski as it offers the users a lot of valuable information about ski resorts.

Reis Polis Direct

Reis Polis Direct was originally planned as a travel insurance product where the customers could tailor make their own cover, for example if you want to cover ski and surf sports you would select these options, while if you were going on a family holiday you might select car breakdown cover.

I pitched this as a drag'n'drop Flash site where the users could pick the cover modules they needed and drop them into a shopping basket.

However, the idea of a custom made insurance policy, let alone one in Flash, proved too much for the quote engine and in the end my concept was used as basis for a flat microsite.

Holiday Home Insurance Web

Holiday Home Insurance Web is essentially a home insurance policy aimed at people who rent out their holiday homes abroad.

The site is very visual in that it aims to show a suite of photo of holiday homes so every user sees a photo of a property they can draw parallels to their own property.

Schools Protection

Schools Protection is a policy covering staff absence and the site is designed to have a glossy and professional look and feel as well as very clear information for time-poor school leaders.
